What is your favorite thing about Whitworth?
One of my favorite things about Whitworth is the great atmosphere created by faculty and students on campus. I have always felt very comfortable on campus and valued as a student by my peers and faculty. I am so glad to be a part of such a great place!

What is the greatest learning experience you have had at Whitworth?
The greatest learning experience I have had at Whitworth is how to be more independent. From making decisions about my schedule to making sure my scholarship money gets to the right place, I have had to learn to get things done on time and to contact the right people to get the job done.

What do you plan to do after graduation?
I plan to get my master's degree in molecular biology then join a research team and work toward my goal of studying cancer. I may also pursue a Ph.D. in molecular biology.

What does scholarship support mean to you?
The scholarship I received means I can continue to attend this great university and work toward my goal of becoming a molecular biologist. This will give me the opportunity to relieve some financial pressure from my parents and keep striving to achieve my goals.
